Soft AE Trainees Visit PREM UPR
Soft AE trainees David Bujdos and Gabriela Gomez-Dopazo led two workshops at the University of Puerto Rico as part of the PREM UPR “Experimenta con PREM” program. The summer program exposes high school students to careers in science and is one result of a 20+ year partnership between the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Puerto Rico, facilitated by The Laboratory for Research on the Structure of Matter (LRSM).

Soft AE trainees talked about material science and their own passions for research for NanoDay@Penn 2023 on Oct. 11. Nearly 50 middle school students and their science teacher, Ms. Outlaw, at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic School participated in the session.
